The short version

Deep Route has no accounts. Your game progress lives in your own browser. If ads are on, Google serves them and uses cookies to do it.

Data stored on your device

Your daily flights, streaks, stats and settings are saved in your browser's local storage so the game remembers them. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can erase it any time in the game's Settings, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Advertising

If ads are turned on, they are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technology to serve ads, including ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown.

Answer counts

When you land a correct answer, the game sends the prompt and that answer to our counter so it can work out how rare each answer is. Nothing else is sent with it: no name, account, cookie or device ID. The counter stores only running totals of how many players gave each answer, which are shown to all players.

Children

Deep Route is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
